I have read all I can on the chain selector and I have it working. But I can't figure out how to map program changes from my MIDI controller to the chain selector? In fact, it seems like Ableton cannot accept anything but MIDI controller messages for mapping?
Is this not possible in Ableton? I'm trying to replicate something that I can do easily in Mainstage. Map my MIDI controller via program changes to play plugins in an instrument rack.
Any help appreciated!

I guess I could write or use a MIDI program change->Controller app. It's trivial but I don't understand why this simple feature was omitted? Strange and thanks for the help!
