Audio Edits - Exporting audio in 192kbps or 320kbps?

Post by stilopie » Sat May 09, 2020 7:56 pm

Dear friends,

I have a question that I often ask myself. When I edit a track/audio of 192kbps, for example, and when I finish the editing and I want to export in 320kbps, does it will make any difference in the audio quality? Should I export in the same bitrate of the original track?

Thanks in advance

You're talking about MP3. It can't be the same bit rate as the original track which will likely be 44.1 kHz or greater. Audibly, there will be little difference from 160Kbps and up, but you will see a bit more high-end on a graph the higher you go. At some point below 320 it stops delivering, but I can't remember the exact level.
