AMP - sounding better than I remembered :=)
working on my laptop during the shelter in place times here and it doesn't play well with my VST plugs - too slow, too weak and old or something. Usage spikes into distortion with various amp sims kinda annoyingly
so I'm having to do my practice discipline and jamming solely with native Abe's devices to save cpu power (using Suite 10.1.latest)
very nice cleans dialed in on my telecaster w/Blues model(@66% wet) into CAB 4/10 dynamic mic-sim @ 100%
peace

I think the key if you want realistic guitar tones is to use amp and cab together, almost like they are just one plug in.

But yeah I like it too for crunchy sounds. I don't like the clean and saturated tones though.

It's not half-bad for rhythm stuff, but Softube has done better. The UA stuff and the Marshall CODE come to mind. I like it for bass.

Yeah, their recent Marshall stuffs are very good, but I definitely can't get used to the older stuff (where Amp is derived from) when I want realistic guitar amp sounds.jonljacobi wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 4:38 pmIt's not half-bad for rhythm stuff, but Softube has done better. It really isnt that bad of an Amp sim. It doesnt have alot of bells and whistles but for basic clean tones, I like it.Mister Natural wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 1:54 amworking on my laptop during the shelter in place times here and it doesn't play well with my VST plugs - too slow, too weak and old or something. I hear it isnt the best for high gain stuff though but I hardly play high gain stuff.
