Got tired of trying to solve the CPU meter spitting and glitching so put the same set into 9.7 32 bit.
Totally stable.
A live set that starts at 30% in L10 and then glitch spits up and down to 50% pretty soon in use, sits at 18% in L9 and goes up to 28% max.
I know there are lots of variables, my system, graphics, plug ins, bridged plugs etc etc but Ho hum. Also video imports and plays perfectly in 9.7. 32 bit.
I have done all suggested tweaks mentioned on here.
Lenovo thinkpad w520, Win7, i7 quad core (old), SSD, 16 gig Ram, Nvidia graphics, + Process Lasso, no anti virus etc
RME Fireface 400, buffer at 512.
Time for an upgrade?
