Have an OP-1 synth and trying to record the audio into Ableton. I've look at videos and I think I even got as far as the computer mic picking up the ambient sound and getting audio that way. Finally I'm deciding to put it the FORUM!!
How can I get audio from what I'm playing on OP1 into Ableton audio track?? through the headphone jack? not USB i don't think. If someone can point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Cy
recording audio from OP 1 into Ableton
Re: recording audio from OP 1 into Ableton
OP1 Headphone jack->split stereo lead (what we used to call an ipod lead when they were still a thing, 3.5 stereo mini jack into 2xMono)->2 line inputs on your interface.
The USB will send MIDI from Ableton to the OP-1 and vice versa, you can also use it to back up your sounds using shift+com on the OP-1 and putting it in disk mode. And it will also work as a dedicated Ableton controller using ctrl mode.
