Im installing a bunch of max for live stuff and organizing it into my user library. Creating alot of new folders etc.
But the regular rescan button and alt-click "deep" rescan doesn't work. Restarting Live is not even working.
Rescan of USER LIBRARY ?

You may have to just give it some time.
It should happen in the background automatically but can take some time for new items to appear if there are a lot of files to sift through. Just be sure you don't do something silly such as adding your entire system drive as a user location as sometimes system files in use can cause the scanner to get stuck. Only have folders that have samples and data you actually need in Live.
