Live5 vs Live4 perf test
Live5 vs Live4 perf test
ok, here we go for another benchmarking session.
i think it's better if we stay with the Live4 performance test.
AdamJay's test was good, and it will enable us to compare Live4 and Live5, and see if there's been improvements for each CPU/OS configuration.
so here's the link to the original Live4 performance test.
read it carefully, and reproduce it with Live5, then post your restuls here.
cheers!

Man does your system have a shared resources graphics system or something.
That's way too high for a Centrino.
Have you tweeked your SpeedStep settings to get maximum power out of the CPU - that should be reading around 27% easily .
My aren't the wings of butterflies beautiful and do they not make wonderful perturbations.....

>>>Yeah, I had Speedstep enabled from earlier in the day, it lets me run Reason longer when I'm out and about and don't need much CPU. Wuth Speedstep disabled, I can run the test at %25 dead steady. <<<
