A thing about organizing Dummy Clips

Post by s88music » Wed Jul 08, 2020 10:53 am

I am making a group of dummy clips so I can modulate my hardware with. My idea was to group all clips in one channel, and every time I'd want to modulate something, I'll just drag the dummy clip to the Channel I'd want.

The problem I am having right now is that whenever I change the CC destination of a midi clip, the same destination is changed for every other clip in the same channel.
The only way to prevent this is to move the MIDI clip to another Channel. But if I move that same clip back to the Channel where all the other Clips are, the destination will change and be the same.

So it seems the only way to have all Dummy Clips already set up is by throwing them into different channels and routing them via MIDI. It's a little bit frustrating because that means that the more I want to modulate, more MIDI channels I need to make.

Can anyone guide me on a better way to organize what I'm trying to do?
