recoded audio slowing down

Post by shana0047 » Sun Aug 02, 2020 8:02 pm

hi! i am trying to add some vocals to a track using just the microphone on a MacBook. when i go to replay it, it is weirdly slowed down. the settings are the same on this audio track as the others that do not have this problem. i wasn't sure if this was just an issue with recording through a mac or if there was a solution to this. thanks!

I very much doubt it's a Mac issue, I record audio into mine all the time and the only time I see that kind of timing weirdness is if the clip has warp/loop on and Live's guessed the clip's original tempo wrongly.

There’s a box in the loop window that indicates the speed Live thinks the audio was originally recorded at. If it’s wrong you can click in it and type in the correct tempo.
