Recording Labels of triggered scens and tracks
Recording Labels of triggered scens and tracks
is it possible during a live session recording to record the triggered sessions (scene number / track) as locators in the recorded arragement?

What would be the use ?
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.
MacStudio M1Max 32Go OS 12.3.1

Re: Recording Labels of triggered scens and tracks
i want to record a live session and later edit. If i have labels as locators of the played scenes its easy for possible corrections of the recorded live performance. Makes that sense?
Re: Recording Labels of triggered scens and tracks
not aware of an easy way to this but it seems like you could make a m4l device that did this if you proxyd control through it considering https://maxforlive.com/library/device/3 ... ointexport and https://maxforlive.com/library/device/5 ... widget-mcv exist.
might be more work than it's worth though unless you really want it

Re: Recording Labels of triggered scens and tracks
maybe less work for ableton to implement a new feature 'scene number recording' as my suggestion. The live arragement recording would have deserved it.- Thanks for feedbacks.

Or rename your clips in session view before recording ?

yes renaming is a goo idea, but not possible doing a real live performance.chapelier fou wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 11:54 amOr rename your clips in session view before recording ?
