Ableton live 10 4k scaling issues [Mac]

hi all,

We are currently having some issues using a 27'' 4k screen scaled to 150% (2550x1440p) on a Mac mini

As soon as we switch to this resolution scrolling through Ableton gets sluggish and not smooth like when in ''native'' mode.

when we use a 27'' QHD screen there are nog issues so it seems to be happening when we start scaling.

anyone else having these issues and/or a solution ?

we use a Mac mini (new one) with an RX580

Do you have the option to try different refresh rate values?
Are you using Live in fullscreen, and is it up-to-date?

latest version and we are using it not in the full screen but max size, we have tried the max fps value at 60 it was a bit smoother but not perfect still..

Hey OP,

Yeah - I have issues with 4K. I have two external 4K 27" monitors, and I can't run Live in 4K mode - CPU goes bonkers and my battery drains like crazy....even though I'm plugged into the wall.

I have no solutions - apart from running my MBP at 1080 instead of native 4K.

So, not identical to you guys, but certainly related.

EDIT: Oh, I do get frustrating lag similar to you when running at 4K.
