Hi all
Sorry if this is a really basic question but I could do with some help.
I wish to slice a breakbeat up and then export the individual slices, so I can use them in Digitakt.
Which would be the best way to go about it? I spent last night putting breaks into Simpler. Then I went on manual slicing with pad mode on. Using push 2, I went separated the break into slices, using the pads, in real time. Then I used the nudge knob to alter the start position on each slice.
Is this the easiest way to slice an 8 bar break?
Also, once I have got my individual slices sorted, how do I export them?
Thanks for your help
Dave
Best way to export individual slices from Simpler
Re: Best way to export individual slices from Simpler
Right-click the sliced waveform in Simpler, select Slice to New MIDI Track from menu.
In the newly created Drum Rack, click on each pad one by one, right-clicking the waveform and choosing Crop Sample.
In the Browser, look in Places > Current Project where you'll find the cropped slices inside the Samples/Processed/Crop folder.
