That’s been my experience as well (M1 MBP). Everything in Live appears to work well and it has been stable for me with all 200+ of my plugins, but the performance is really weird. I feel like Live under Rosetta doesn’t understand how to take advantage of the M1 CPU cores. Reason has this problem too. Everything works, but gets wonky when multithreading is enabled.
This is expected behavior, expect coming Live 11 beta versions to be M1 native, don't forget that all your plugins also need to be Universal otherwise you would not be able to use them.

Also read somewhere about compatibility issues with Push 1, but mine is working fine!
Is this where you read about the issues with Push 1?

Were there other sources talking about problems with Push 1?

Thanks
Could be, can't remember. But I've been on M1 for about 1 month and found no issues with push 1.

Just installed Ableton M1 on my MBPro M1. Same issue with CPU usage. even using simple drum racks it easily reaches 20-25% load.

Me too. The weird thing is, I can have 8 tracks of Diva without a problem. But 2 relatively simple drum racks maxes out the CPU and causes audio dropouts.

(edit) I'm on a Mac mini M1 16GB ram 512GB ssd

Guess we'll have to wait until it's fully supported :)

The support's reaction on the issue:
Live 11 is not officially supported on M1 hardware.
Adding devices can easily adjust delay compensation depending on what these racks contain and create spikes hence CPU dropouts might be expected.
We can't consider CPU spikes an issue when creating new Tracks/Devices.

Just tried Live 11 on M1 mini w/RME ADI Pro 2 drivers > Recorded JP6 straight in for some loops with Live's drums.
Crashed 4 times in 2 hours, last one was a system crash. Walks out of studio.

Hot swapping kits on the fly really was scary.

Back to 2013 macbook for now until Live cracks the case 8)

I haven't noticed an improvement.

I'm using a M1 Mac Mini with 8gb of RAM. I've a thunderbolt 3 audio interface and have tried setting the buffer to 32, 64, 128, and 256. With only four purely audio tracks in the project, I still get pops and clicks. It's a bummer, but I'm banking on performance improving over the coming months. We don't even have a native M1 release yet, unless I missed something in a recent set of release notes.

Be patient, it will surely improve a lot when Ableton and your plugins are native

question is, will Ableton 11 ever be native on M1 ? Did Ableton confirm it?

Yes it will, because all new Macs will be based on Apple Silicon so developers will need to support to stay competitive
