Hi,
I just upgraded to Catalina (Not Big Sur), and since then I experience huge latency when I try to play instruments with my midi keyboard.
I set my latency as low as 32 samples but it's still unplayable. I deactivated all the plugins, but still get the latency.
Any ideas?

Maybe something's wrong with your sound card driver and your new OS?

I actually found it:
Just purchased Ozone Elements, and even though the plugin was de-activated on my Master bus, It created the lag. As soon as I deleted the plugin, the latency was fine, it went back to normal.
Good to know that I must use this plugin only when I am ready for the final mix.

Hi,
I noticed playback skips when ozone's active. Not only that, these skips show up in exported audio. I am mastering in live and hoping to make use of ozone for this. I don't see, given that I don't need it to work in real-time, why this would not be possible. Please enlighten me as to how to apply ozone to the audio without the fact of its being too slow for live playback getting in the way. It sounds great on the audio to which it's applied outside of the skips.
Thanks,
Falcon

Also of note is that the cpu is not maxing out or anywhere near it and I have tried turning all other plugins off as well as minimizing bit depth, all to no avail thus far.
