Any possibility to "slice" a longer sample?

Lets say i have a singer-part for eg. 8 bars as one "file"/clip.... But i want this whole part as separate pieces of eg. 1/4 bar as separate PIECES!
What is the fastest way? Is there any kind of "slicer"? i DO NOT want this as "drumrack", i want this just as CUTTED (autark) Arrange-PIECES!
