How to export to track?

Is there a way I can export a single group track and have it automatically get imported to the same project for a quick master? I'm not doing anything too exciting, just quick youtube/facebook vids of me playing bass to a pre-recorded song. So I have 1 track with the imported song (mp3 file) and another track of me playing bass. Then I dupe the bass track so that I have high freq and low freq tracks. Then I group them and apply some processing. Then I group the bass group and song track, apply some processing. Then I just want to export that final group and have the rendered wav file automatically imported to a track in the project.

The only way I know of to record back into a project follows these steps

- Make a new audio track
- Change the output of the tracks you want mixed together from Master to the new track
- Arm the new track to record
- Press Record

All of the tracks you want to mix will be re-recorded and mixed together in the new track
