Post by lapieuvre » Sat Feb 13, 2021 7:38 am

Anyone has that in after installing Live 11? "Can't access file database: No database file found"

I tried deleting the Live Database content in Application Support -> Ableton but didn't work...

Thanks

You have to delete the files in the folder "Live Database".

located in /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Ableton/Live Database

(Assuming you're on Mac)

Then restart your computer, and launch live 11

No need to restart, just make sure the app is closed. Try to close it normally then open Terminal, type "killall Live" (without quotes), and press enter. This will kill anything that may have got stuck running in the background

However, the solution for me was not deleting files--it was closing the instance of 10 I had running

Hello! I am having the same issue right now. Could you tell me how you closed your ableton 10 instances?
