Simpler and MIDI Clip

Greetings.
Is there an easy way of applying a Simpler to a MIDI clip?
I'd like to adjust the ADSR within the clip.
Presently, I am freezing the MIDI clip, converting to audio, creating an audio track, and then dragging it into a Simpler.
