*SOLVED* "vcuntime140_1.dll not found"

Had trouble when installing the Live 11 upgrade. Ended up uninstalling all Ableton content. Please dont do the same mistake. If you encounter this mistake go to Windows C++ redist-page (https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/)

Go to other, and download latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019. Solved the problem for me :)

had the same issue, and that worked for me too. fun fact—it “broke” a number of other programs in the process, so if anyone else encounters it after installing 11, you’ll probably want to update your visual studio ASAP, even if you don’t plan on using Ableton right away (or in my case, can’t, because of work 🤦🏻‍♂️).
