Live 11 ok on High Sierra 10.13.6?

Good to know! Is that a global command, or per each app?

It's global. And you need to keep it deactivated once Motu's driver is installed (you can disable and re-enable this SIP as much as you want, but the Ultralite won't work when it's enabled).

Re: Live 11 ok on High Sierra 10.13.6?
This conversation seems to have gotten rather off topic. I have my plenty of love/detest relations with MOTU hardware personally, but wasn't the question about Live 11 on High Sierra?
Currently I'm setting up an old (and internally rehabbed) iMac that can't run OSX past High Sierra officially and doesnt play nice with dosdude's awesome hacks because of its non-metal GPU. But rest assured this thing can still produce music, with a quad core 2.5 ghz i5, 16gb ram and an internal SSD i installed. supposedly live 11 is compatible with high sierra but with Live 11.2.11 i'm getting the classic incompatibility icon over the Live app when I download it (circle with a dash thru it).
Is there a cutoff for which version of Live 11 is compatible with High Sierra?
PS for the user on the MOTU ultralite FW, tbh although it depends a lil on what you are doing I can attest to having very few problems with machines that have SIP permanently disabled.
Furthermore tho I havent looked into your situation, in my experience using Pacifist itself often behaves better without SIP but once you have used it to custom install the stuff you want and tested your MOTU hardware/software combo with at least one successful run after fully restarting the system post-install — there's a good chance you can re-enable SIP without problems thereafter ("csrutil enable" command in recovery mode)

11.2.11 looks like it will install on my High Sierra machine (10.13.6), the dmg file opens, I cancelled at the user agreement screen.
