Working with midi clips in the session view
Working with midi clips in the session view
I'm really frustrated now - I would like to produce a track, but I can't cope with the Session View and starting of MIDI clips. My approach: First I created a loop in the arrangement view with a total of 11 tracks. The clips are all the same length of 16 bars. I control two external synths, one midi track goes internally to an Ableton Percussion Set - everything works great, runs synchronously, etc. Now I've copied the clips into the Session View, each into a track - then I start z. E.g. with the bass drum - the clip starts to run, everything is fine. If start the next clip, for example the hi-hat clip - it starts immediately and runs asynchronously to the bassdrum. Actually, the second clip should first flash and then start synchronously, with the beginning of the next 64 bars of the bass drum clip, right? What am I doing wrong? : cry:

Re: Working with midi clips in the session view
