Ableton 11 midi note Velocity problem
Hey ya'll,
I have been using (successfully) ableton 11's new velocity parameters to round robin through multiple samples in Sampler via drum rack -- by setting all velocities to 0, and defining the range +127, it sends sampler a new velocity with every hit. This all works fine and well until I try to record the result with an audio track. Right when I record enable that track, Sampler stops reading the incoming velocities, and basically stops functioning altogether. Really weird, and I can't remedy by undoing my commands.. Wonder if anybody knows where I'm futzing this.

Re: Ableton 11 midi note Velocity problem
hi, just tried this here and can see exactly what you mean - something's definitely broken there.
plays fine until i set an audio track to record the sampler track (resampling or otherwise) – pressing record arm on the audio track makes playback very glitchy.
in fact, the playback will glitch without even trying to record the audio on another track:
with the sampler track playing, disable the rec-arm switch and the playback glitches just the same.
so it looks like the playback will only work if the sampler track is rec-armed.
