Midi mapping the Looper “big button”?

Hi, So I tried my Bluetooth Airturn and Blueboard midi foot controller in all modes, also tried a usb midi surface controller but have never succeeded in mapping the multi function big button of the Looper plugin, I can get it to rec/play/dub and stop but never undo/clear. I want it to do what it says it does: click=rec/play/dub, double click =stop, click and hold =undo/clear. The manual says the pedal must be in momentary mode, can’t see how to adjust that with the Bluetooth pedals but did make sure the usb controller was in momentary mode but still doesn’t react to press and hold. What an I doing wrong?
