I want to be able to add an "alias" of a plugin to my chain, so that I can edit it once & have it affect multiple tracks.
It would work as such: I add an EQ to blank track "0". I add a mirror of this EQ to my chain on track "1", and another to track "2". I enable a hi-pass filter on the EQ on track 0, and tracks 1 & 2 become hi-passed.
Is what I'm describing impossible? Of course, the plugin would effectively have 3 instances running.
It's just useful sometimes to add an EQ before a compressor, for example, instead of adding it to a group (i.e. at the end of the chain), and I'd rather not make every edit twice when necessary.
plugin aliasing - impossible?
Re: plugin aliasing - impossible?
There are M4L devices for up to 10 instances.
