Resolution Issues With Some Plug-Ins

Post by tonychiang » Fri Apr 09, 2021 8:08 pm

hey window users! does anyone happen to know how to fix this resolution issue? i'm currently using a 27'' monitor at 3840 x 2160 but some of my VSTs seem to be having this problem (ArtsAcoustic Reverb, Maag E4, RBass) just to name a few. i also attached a screenshot for reference. it seems to be fine when i change the display to 1920x1080 but then everything becomes distorted and eventually becomes hard to look at for long periods of time

https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... or-support

"Certain HiDPI plug-ins may require you to manually disable scaling (via the context menu) in order to use them on HiDPI screens."

"Right click on the plug-in title bar and deselect Auto-Scale Plugin Window."

Still there is a problem with some plugins like NI Massive X and all Arturia plugins when unable auto-scaling.
The problem with the auto-scaling it is stretching the size of the plugin make the fonts not that crisp. In Bitwig they seems they fixed that (for comparison).

Please Ableton fix that!
