how to record the audio from playing the granulator

I'm trying to record the audio from the granulator in real-time since I'm moving knobs with the mouse, how can I do that? every time I do that it just record my midi (notes)

Assuming you want to record the audio on track 5 in your screenshot. You need to set the Audio From pulldown (currently set to Ext. In) to get the audio from the track Granulator.

If you find it more inspiring/useful to record everything live as you go, then there's two scenarios:

If you want to record the audio only, but are not interested in recording the midi/automation
- Midi track Monitor In, not record-armed
- Audio track Monitor Off, record-armed

If you want to record both midi/automation and audio
- Midi track Monitor Auto, record-armed
- Audio track Monitor Off, record-armed
Note that when you play it back, both will play at the same time, so mute/solo accordingly.

Another option is to first record all your midi and automation, make any additional tweaks, and then sit back and hit record.
