Hello,

When drawing midi you use the grid to set note length. Before upgrading to live 11 (from 10) I used to have it set to narrow as a default but now that's no longer the grid it uses. Is there a way that I can set the default back to narrow so I don't have to change it every time I create a new midi clip?

It seem it's another great feature that gone..

In "Options" menu, uncheck "fixed grid".

[edit] you're right the option isn't saved... I don't remember how it used to work in the past, but if you think it's changed then an email to support@ableton.com is probably worth it.

I don't think this was an option in 10. I am on 10 and I don't have the option to set the default grid for new clips. It always defaults to "narrow" so maybe that's why you thought you had set it.
