Using Aripods with Ableton without latency

Post by Jono43ver » Sat May 01, 2021 6:22 am

Hey guys! I’ve recently came across an issue when I change the Audio output device to my AirPods, the output latency increases a lot! To the point where my Akai MPD 32 has a latency as well. I prefer producing with my AirPods, is there a way I can use my Bluetooth headphones without it affecting the output latency? Thank you!

Using bluetooth headphones does make latency worse, nothing will help with that.

The AirPod pros have less latency than the normal ones, but there’s no getting around it completely with Bluetooth headphones I’m afraid.

I really can’t recommend enough getting a decent pair of headphones. AirPods or any sort of in ears give you a terrible reference.
