Synth as a midi keyboard question

Post by Somewhere_Far_Away » Thu May 13, 2021 8:11 pm

I have a Moog synthesizer set up in Ableton as an external instrument. Whenever I play the lower keys, it triggers the drum sounds from the a separate drum rack track. How do I make it so the keys will not trigger the drum sounds? Thanks in advance.

Are the lower keys on a different MIDI channel?

Unarm the drumrack’s track or select a specific input device for it.

In a channel, you can designate midi input and output.

If you have something else triggering drums, you can select only that specific midi device from the dropdown for what it receives notes from.
