The goal, use the Surround Panner with a joystick (and not spend a load of money).
I'm using Live 11 and the Korg Microkey 25 Key USB MIDI Controller.
The issue: the Microkey's joystick physically returns to centre, however the midi data does not return to centre, hence Sound Panner 'rests' hard panned to one side.
However, the midi data for the Pitch bend returns to centre on the X-axis (CC67), which is great, but the y-axis does not return to centre (CC1 and/or CC2).
I can edit the Microkey with software, however I don’t know what to do.
Any thoughts?

That's surprising! I don't have this controller so I have no idea if it's normal; did you ask around to other Microkey users if they experience the same behaviour?

I have the same goal can anyone recommend a joystick that works QUAD with Ableton?
maybe a touchpad would work better ?
