Deleted Audio Still Playing - Help

Hi

On loading an audio file into Ableton Live 10.1 and then cutting a section. on playback the
deleted section is still playing. See print-screens below

I'm clearly missing something very obvious, your help would be most appreciated.

Live is still playing from session view rather than arrangement view. Notice how the audio clip is a slightly faded colour and the Back to Arrangement View button that needs to be pressed to play from this view not the session view.
