I want to edit the copied clips all at Simultaneously

Post by yongseokKIM » Tue Jun 08, 2021 2:54 pm

Hello, I'm here from Cubase to Ableton.
I would like to edit 1 audio clip to be used in the arrangement view of Ableton, copy the clip to 4 and edit 4 clips at Simultaneously. (For example, I want to select 4 clips and apply fade out at the same time, and cut off the end of the clip at the same time)
*I want to do it like the attached picture.

Simultaneous editing is possible in Cubase, but I can't find a way in Ableton live. If you select 4 clips and apply fadeout, it only applies to one clip.

Is there only a way to apply Fadeout from 1 clip to 4 clips to copy??

If they were on different tracks and those tracks were linked that would be possible in L11.
But here with contiguous clips... nope. If you're really using copies of the e.g first clip, then you'd better off triming it and applying your fade, and then cmd+d to duplicate it.
