Can't fix my midi keyboard latency, feel as though I've tried everything.

Post by turntablemonkey » Sat Jun 12, 2021 11:17 am

Hi For some reason I can't get my midi keyboard to perfectly sync with ableton. I am using a focusrite 4i4, ryzen 3600 cpu and a novation sl mk3. I am running a 32 buffer 96khz sample rate. My issue is seen here in this screen capture I took.
The driver compensation adjustment does nothing neither does the midi clock latency adjustment. The only thing that has seemed to help is using the track delay feature but is there any other way to fix this? I took a video to show my issue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOsxgB8z_Ms. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Is the latency Only in the recorded midi? Or is there perceived audible latency between when you press a key and when you hear the sound it triggers?

Do you have any plugins on the master that would cause latency? Return channel devices that could cause latency?
