So, i am pulling my hair out at the moment. Most probably it is something simple but i cant figure it out. Iam trying to explain my problem as best as i can.
Here is my problem:
Whenever iam trying to record on my audio channel, the audio from my other channels are recorded also on the channel. Meaning, that i always get the beat and the recording in one audio channel. I want to split these two in order to get only the mic recording in one channel. Steps that i take:
I create a audio track
I select "Ext. in" in the input dropdown
I choose "In" in the monitor field
I select "Sends only" in the Ext. dropdown
In the screenshot you see that on channel 13 i recorded but i didnt say anything into the mic, but the beat has been recorded (you can see the audio waveform) on that channel. I only want the mic signal recorded on this channel, which in this case should be a flatline because iam not speaking active into the mic.

I think it has something to do that master channel is sending to 1/2 and the audio track to 1?? I dont know.
What i want:
I want to record only the signal from the mic on one channel but i want to hear the beat through the headphones.
