I've been auditioning lots of samples lately and thought I'd save my ears some strain by mapping the "Cue Volume" slider on the Master track to a knob on my MIDI controller.
Unfortunately, Cue Volume seems to be one of the few interface controls that is not MIDI mappable.
Am I missing something? Is there a workaround?
Thanks for your help!
Cue Volume MIDI Mapping?
Re: Cue Volume MIDI Mapping?
Cue / Solo (Preview) Volume is MIDI mappable, but it seems that you have to be in Session View to assign it for some reason - in Arrangement View it is not mappable. Once you assign it in Session View, it works in Arrangement View as well. You can see it in the image below (ignore the red highlights) - on the master channel the solo pot is marked blue when in MIDI mapping mode signifying it is mappable. I just tried it on my computer and it maps/works perfectly fine.

Yep, that's the trick! I guess it's just bad luck that I tried to assign it in Arrangement View first

odd that it doesn't map in arrange view – might be worth reporting to support as i can't see any reason for it.

I'll pass it on to support.
