Hi everyone,
I recently bought a used Beatstep then updated drivers and firmware.
Now here is the problem: when assigning pads to notes through its Midi Center and using the shift+big knob to transpose them, I noticed that the pads simply won't play notes ranging from B0 to D#2 and they are not even recorded. So I find myself in this strange situation: I can play, transpose, record notes using pads just from E2 and above or A#0 and below. The pads are all working. The sum of the missing notes should be 17 (B0-all 12 notes in octave 1 - C2/C#2/D2/D#2).
Any help or suggestion would be highly appreciated.
Thank you.
Beatstep missing notes
Re: Beatstep missing notes
I Have the same problem with the beatstep (Not Pro)
Some midi notes com through ... others wont.
But when i'm quick, i can play some notes as i have configured in my midi control center settings. (This for 1 or 2 seconds) But than the configuration changes.
Being quick means, pushing the pads from the moment i drop a instrument in Ableton.
By some means Ableton changes the settings...
How can i prevent this from happening?
I want to use the beatstep as a drum control
