Exporting clips into other Daws
one question,
i have been a lie users many years ago, now i am back into it and bought Live 11.
I like to start new music in Live and then later at a certain point would like to export my clips and move on in cubase.
lets say i have nothing in arrangement mode and just only several tracks with clips.
Is there an easy way to just export these clips into single audio files and then be easily able to import them into cubase?
all the best

I use Reason 11 Suite beside Live Suite 10. I put all the clips in seperate tracks in arrangement view, en then export all tracks to separate stems. I would not know of any other solution.

thank you.
so you at least can export several tracks in arrangement view at once? not bad.

i would love to export all clips in clip mode in one go.

Yeah, would be nice to export all the buildingblocks of song in a folder, ready to be imported in another DAW

Re: Exporting clips into other Daws
another idea i just got which i have to check out.
i would guess you have still the clip freeze function which freezes all clips in one track.
maybe i can access these files and just drag them into another daw?
i have to look if this works out...

Re: Exporting clips into other Daws
There's a nice trick with audio clips: select them all, right-click and select the Crop option. You'll get them exported to the Processed>Crop folder... and if you took the time to rename them first you'll be even more happy.
This won't print any effect to the samples though.

Re: Exporting clips into other Daws
ah, thank you!
i just found out that my freeze idea works.
i freeze all clips in clip mode.
shut down live and go to the samples/freeze folder.
there are all frozen clips and i can copy them to my cubase folder where i want to move on with it.
it seems to me that live doesnt errase the unfrozen files, so i have to make sure to delete that folder
when i have frozen stuff before it seems..
