Is it possible to edit pitch of an entire MIDI sample using 'slide' function?

Post by ewan_9 » Sun Dec 05, 2021 10:59 pm

Apologies for basic question.

I have recorded a MIDI piano piece over a live recording of a band, and it's *slightly* off key.

I can see how to edit the pitch of an individual MIDI note using 'slide', but it is possible to edit every note in the piece by the same amount using slide? Or is there another way to do this easily?

Thx

Possibly Global pitchbend. But to be fair I’m not sure that’s a thing in MPE recorded midi.

Could maybe automate the tuning of the device you were playing, maybe do a test run of that in a duplicate channel first.

you can use the pitch bend in the midi ctrl if your plugin has access to it; that's probably the simplest way. just tune it on the whole track.
