Cant get itunes tracks to play ? live 9

Hi could anyone help as i have a problem where i cant get any tracks to play in live 9. . i have a windows 10 laptop and for years its been fine .now the only tracks which will play are mp3s which have been converted . is there something called quicktime which helped tracks play in ableton ? Any advise would be great thanks Scott

itunes are DRM protected, therefore cannot open in anything but an apple device
