Midi remote script to use multiple Akai APC mini as independent control surfaces

Post by LUVU » Mon Jan 17, 2022 4:36 pm

Is anyone here or does anyone know an ableton live midi remote script wizard?? Currently looking to have multiple akai apc minis (maybe as many as 4 units) show up as independent control surfaces. As it stands, we have two units, but they share the same grid. Ableton has support for multiple Akai APC40mkii's, but we're wishing to move away from these asap

Looking to either edit the existing script (Is it possible to override the current .pyc file?) or create a new one altogether. Willing to pay / commission someone to complete this asap!

You just load them in different slots and then move them so they don't overlap.

Hi D, load them in different slots? If multiple Apc minis are plugged in, they occupy the same control surface grid. There doesn't seem to be an immediate way to make it so they don't completely overlap.

Once they've been plugged in they will occupy the same space, but then you'll need to move one of them so they don't overlap.

You're right, thanks! Had set-up one of them with a Bome script and moving one was actually moving both of them
