Looper + automated effects

Post by errcsool » Tue May 10, 2022 5:16 am

I would like to tie the Looper Audio Effect to other Audio Effects, such that the other effects would be automated and this automation would always play during the loop.

For example:

I could play a piano part
I could automate changing reverberation on that part
All of this would be captured by the Looper

Is this possible? What would be the alternatives? I am mainly concerned with live looping.

Looper simply records what you throw at it, i.e printed audio (with effects).

Is there a way to overdub a loop with audio effects or something?

In my live looping flow, it would be very difficult to play the instrument at the same time as to control the audio effects via knobs or sliders

You want to record your instrument into Looper first, and then tweak this instrument's effects and overdub the effects only on top of it?
