Warp a clip without being stuck to the global BPM

Post by Teace » Fri May 13, 2022 10:51 am

is it possible to have warp in a clip turned on, change the global tempo halfway the clip without the clip tempo being affected? I have automation on the clip so I need warp to be on.

nope.
You can trick it with follow actions, though.

...which won't work with clip automation :?

Bouncing your effects to audio (or using a dummy FX track) and then using the Follow Action 'Clip End' loop trick is the only option really.

that's what I am doing right now, not very convenient, since the orders of our pieces can vary from concert to concert.
