Click and Tempo Map not sync'd up?

Post by Rich G. » Sun May 15, 2022 5:52 pm

I have an audio click track which was used in a Studio One 5 project. I created a tempo map in Studio One, then saved it in a Midi track. I import both the Click track and the Midi track with tempo map into Ableton Live 11. The tempo corrections in the map were done every bar.

When I enable the click in Ableton it doesn't take very long before the Ableton click gets out of sync with the audio click, yet in Studio One everything is in sync.

If I play the Ableton click alone I can see it is following the tempo map. Am I missing a step here? What do I need to do to ensure Ableton click stays in line with the audio click track?

Turn off warping for the audio click clip in Live.

Warp was off.

I ended up discarding the Midi file with the Tempo Map, set Warp On & Lead in the audio click track, then created a new tempo map in Ableton.
