Does 11.1.5 fix the Windows plugin scanning issue when using shortcuts?

Post by josefreak » Wed May 18, 2022 8:42 pm

I previously had to rollback to 11.0.12 because 11.1.0 had a defect that when scanning plugin folders that contain Windows 10 shortcuts to other directories was broken. This was causing Live to not be able to find many of my plugins that are located in the non-standard plugin folders. Can someone confirm that 11.1.5 fixes this problem? I can see this line in the bug fix history for 11.1.5: "Scanning VST2 and VST3 custom folder paths now works as expected.". The issue I'm talking about is related to this issue on the forum: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=244614

I'd hate to install this latest version only to find out that it's still not working and many of my plugins can't be found.
