Cannot Locate Original Project File

Post by jfusion » Tue Jun 07, 2022 8:24 pm

Hi,

I recently made the grave error of moving all my music from my computer hard drive onto my external hard drive. I basically scrambled the entire album I had just spent 6 months on, and each of the source stems were cast across the "dataverse" of both my laptop, external hard drive (EHD), and icloud.

In an effort to consolidate everything, I've created new folders on my icloud desktop, which I've dragged each Project Folder (including samples, etc.) into. My plan is to reunite each of the stems with their parent sessions, save to one location, and then transfer everything onto the EHD.

Luckily, I was able to (manually) find each of the stems that were "missing" according to the File Manager (nice job managing those files).

However, there are two songs that I cannot seem to locate in either area. I'm able to see the Sessions as a result in my search field, but not the project itself (including the samples, etc. folders.)

When I try to open the backup sessions Live crashes.

Any tips on how to locate these would be greatly appreciated.
