upgrading to suite from lite

was wondering if the projects i've made on lite will be recovered to suite automatically? do i need to uninstall lite before downloading suite, and if so, will the projects be lost? also, i don't want to believe this, but i read that when upgrading, a student discount wouldn't be possible... is it true for me when i got lite for free with a scarlett interface? sorry about my english.

You do not need to uninstall Lite before installing Suite as it is a separate installation. But I don't think you need it anymore as you can open all Lite projects in Suite. So it's up to you if you delete Lite after a while.
Anyway, nothing is lost when you install Suite. Projects and plugins are not touched during Suite installation.
