In NZ, we have a DJ named "DJ Pooface McGraw".

I haven't heard him, but he is very well spoken of!

Lame? IMO, any name preceded by DJ.

It just reeks of insecurity and 'look at me'.

Much respect to the Carl Coxes and Pete Tongs of the world with the confidence, security, talent and skill to use their given names and not have to hide behind pretentious stage names...
