Is it possible to record midi with swing?

Is it possible to have that swing as in akai mpc, while you are recording a midi pattern ?

The groove application that comes with Ableton works great , but it is a process that you have to make after recording.

Cheers

No direct way to do this, although I believe it is possible using Push. If it is then it is most likely possible using M4L.

Some other methods is to use an empty clip with a groove file already loaded. You could save the clip as a template or even make it default.

Or you could record with triplet Record Quantize but that might be too much.
