Sustaining notes in a loop

Post by DGWARD » Thu Sep 29, 2022 11:14 pm

Hi, I'm working on an acoustic guitar loop and I'd like to let one or two notes fade out beyond the end of the last bar and then, being a loop, I guess it would fade into the first bar again. I don't see any way to do this other than maybe have a second track with a 4 bar loop with just the fading notes in it... I haven't given that much thought yet. I'm wondering if there is a way to do this more simply. Thanks.

It's easy to do with Looper, but with clips it would need some trickery.
The easiest one to try would be to automate a reverb at the end of the loop.
