Has anyone else noticed that Ableton support is getting worse?
Taking 4-5 days to reply, offering generic solutions, asking for a status report, and then disappearing for another 4-5 days?
I feel like it wasn't like this in the past - the first few issues I had with Ableton years ago, I got quick responses and what felt like expert knowledge.
Combined with the product seeming to get worse and worse, I think I've bought my last version of Live and I'll be looking for alternatives.
The decline of Ableton support
Re: The decline of Ableton support
What I noticed since the last update 11.2 the spinning ball appears increasingly more often with usage until the UI freezes (the audio still playing) and I need to force quit (Imac 2017 i7 4,2Ghrz 24GB RAM - Mojave) turning this version unusable for me.
It did not happened with the same project in ver 11.1.6
Is the first time I have this performance kind of problem after an update.
Maybe my mac is getting old or they screwed something in the latest version?
Will downgrade to 11.6 and test....

That's completely off-topic!Nekz wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 9:34 amWhat I noticed since the last update 11.2 the spinning ball appears increasingly more often with usage until the UI freezes (the audio still playing) and I need to force quit (Imac 2017 i7 4,2Ghrz 24GB RAM - Mojave) turning this version unusable for me.

And this past was before covid...
Support's still trying to cop up with the problems various lockdowns created.
I'm sure it'll be back to full power asap
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I don't think the covid excuse holds up as we all had to work through covid in our jobs.junior85 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 8:28 amHas anyone else noticed that Ableton support is getting worse?

However I have to say over the last few months the level is indeed improving and the support helped me far far better in my last two issues.
big shout out to jur who is like a one man army on this forum.
I big thanx for that from the ones willing to help.........
